Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 28, 2026
Sanctum Homes Inc. ("Sanctum Homes", "we", "us") builds modular homes in Nova Scotia as an official regional dealer for Supreme Homes. This policy explains what personal information we collect, how we use it, who we share it with and the choices you have. It applies to this website and to everything we do for you, from your first quote request to your home's warranty.
What we collect
- When you ask for a quote: your name, email address and phone number, whether you own land, your lot's general location, the model, budget range, bedrooms and bathrooms you're interested in, whether you're a first-time homebuyer, and anything you write in your message.
- When you become a client: the address of your new home and where you live now, the names and contact details of anyone buying with you, your lawyer's contact details, your plans, choices and specifications, estimates, your agreement and change orders, records of your payments, and photos of your site taken while your home is built.
- When we talk: the emails and text messages we exchange, and notes of our calls. Calls to our office line may be recorded and transcribed to keep an accurate record of what was discussed.
- When you visit this website: which pages are viewed and how far down they're read, the site you came from, the kind of device used, and your general area (worked out from your internet address, which isn't kept). We use Google Analytics, which uses cookies, and our own visit counter, which uses no cookies and doesn't identify you.
How we use it
- To answer your questions and prepare your quote and estimates.
- To prepare your agreement, order your home and plan and build it, including delivery, the foundation and finishing.
- To keep you up to date by email, phone or text message about your quote, your documents, your schedule and your payments.
- To register your home's warranty and look after you afterwards.
- To keep the records the law requires, and to improve our website and service.
We don't use your information for anything unrelated to your home without asking you first.
Who we share it with
We share only what's needed, only with those who need it to help build your home or run our business:
- Supreme Homes, who build your home, for your plans, specifications and delivery address.
- The trades and contractors working on your home (for example the transporter, foundation and finishing crews), for the site's address and what they need to do their work.
- Your lawyer, when you give us their details: your signed agreement and receipts.
- Your home's warranty provider, to register your warranty.
- Companies that run our systems for us: our website and email host and our business software host (both in Canada), our electronic signature service (its Canadian data centre), our phone and text message provider, and Google Analytics. Some of these providers may process information outside Canada, such as in the United States, where it is subject to the laws there.
- Anyone we are required to share it with by law.
We never sell your personal information.
Text messages and your phone number
If you agree to receive text messages from us, we use your mobile number only to text you about your home, your quote and your project. We do not sell, rent or share mobile phone numbers or text message opt-in data and consent with third parties or affiliates for their marketing or promotional purposes. The sharing described above never includes text message opt-in data or consent.
You can stop text messages at any time by replying STOP. Reply HELP for help. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. See our Terms and Conditions for the details.
How we protect it
Your information is kept in password-protected systems that only our team can open, sent over encrypted connections, and backed up in encrypted form. We keep it for as long as we need it for the reasons above and to meet our legal and warranty obligations, then delete it.
Your choices
- Ask to see the personal information we hold about you, or to have it corrected.
- Withdraw your consent to emails or texts at any time (reply STOP to a text, or tell us), unless we need to contact you about an agreement you've signed with us.
- If you have a concern, tell us first and we'll do our best to put it right. You can also contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.
Changes
We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top shows when it last changed.
